Xerox holds thought leadership workshop for healthcare professionals

Healthcare companies around the country are preparing for electronic medical record reform. Xerox is prepared to help the healthcare industry navigate the digital divide. The company is hosting a Healthcare Thought Leadership Workshop on Nov. 3-4, 2009 to give healthcare organizations a competitive edge and learn from best practices and tactics.
 
The workshop will address how to handle current legislation and reform and tips to ensure patient data protection. In addition, attendees will learn ways to increase operational efficiencies, reduce costs and stretch marketing dollars.
 
Gunter Wessels, partner, Total Innovation Group Inc. will deliver a keynote address regarding healthcare reform, how it affects payer and providers and how to evolve business to handle these changes. A host of healthcare professionals and Xerox executives, like Martin Reiser who presides as chair over the National Coalition on Benefits and TechAmerica's Health IT committee, will also present and hold open dialogues and seminars covering a variety of industry topics including ICD-10, HIPAA 2010 legislation and patient security.
 
Xerox Thought Leadership Workshops, at the Gil Hatch Center for Customer Innovation in Webster N.Y., regularly provide Xerox customers and attendees insight relevant to their business to help develop new competitive strategies.
