Founder of State Street Consultants Passes Away

Press release from the issuing company

We are sad to report that John Windle passed away on October 14, 2009 at New England Baptist Hospital after a valiant 6-month struggle with lung cancer.

During the last 6 months, he maintained an active interest in the company and kept working at home between chemotherapy and radiation treatments. He remained upbeat and optimistic throughout. It was his desire that the nature of his illness should remain private and we respected his wishes.

It is his desire that the business continue on and the team at State Street will endeavor to fulfill this wish.

John thoroughly enjoyed working with many companies and individuals within the graphic arts marketplace during his long career. John founded State Street Consultants in 1973. Prior to that, John was a Sr. Consultant in the General Management Group of Harbridge House, an international management consulting and executive development organization. He left Harbridge House to co-found Business Equities Corporation, a general management and venture capital consulting firm.

John earned his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from MIT in 1960 and his M.S. from the Sloan School of Management at MIT in 1966. He is a member of Eta Kappa Nu, the National Honor Society for Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, and a member of Tau Beta Pi, the National Engineering Honor Society.
