Schawk Unites Strategic, Creative and Executional Services

Press release from the issuing company

CINCINNATI, OH -- Schawk, Inc., a leading provider of brand point management services, enabling companies of all sizes to connect their brands with consumers to create deeper brand affinity, announced that it has moved its executional business into a uniquely designed space in Cincinnati with its strategic design company, Anthem Worldwide.

It is only fitting that this first shared-space concept is introduced in Cincinnati -- the city where Neil McElroy of Procter & Gamble invented brand management in 1931. This uniquely situated environment of Schawk and Anthem workspaces connected, strengthens the delivery of brand point management by uniting Anthem's strategic and creative talent with the executional abilities of Schawk.

Schawk defines brand point management as the strengthening of a brand through the delivery of compelling and consistent brand experiences, which create greater brand affinity between consumer and brand. Brand point management touches all phases of a product's life -- from ideation to design to market implementation -- because all phases contribute to the continuum of interaction between the consumer and the brand.

David A. Schawk, president and chief executive officer of Schawk, stated, "We have tested this shared space concept outside the U.S., which served as the model to unite Schawk's strategic, creative and executional services. We're ready to bring it to our North American operations in a planned manner over the next few years."

Added Schawk, "We believe that uniting our capabilities in this manner will facilitate and strengthen our delivery of brand point management by leveraging the talents of our employees in strategic, creative and executional positions in new, and ultimately more powerful, ways."

Steve Klein, managing director of Anthem's strategic and creative operations in Cincinnati, commented, "Anthem focuses on strategic and creative excellence while Schawk's expertise ensures our ideas will make it to shelf intact. Our collaboration begins with Anthem's design strategy and creative development and continues through Schawk's executional expertise to drive shoppers to the moment of purchase -- on shelf."

Rhett Warner, managing director of Schawk's executional operations in Cincinnati, said, "Uniting our workspaces in this manner is a natural next step for Schawk. With such close proximity to Anthem's creative expertise, Schawk is better able to execute on concept designs to ensure we bring the full potency of the design to life, the way the designer intended and the way the client approved it. It also puts Schawk in a stronger position to retain the integrity of the design throughout all executional phases of a project."

For more than 50 years, Schawk has been a world-class provider of premedia services and over the past two decades has broadened its range of services to include strategy, design and enterprise brand management technology. The result is that Schawk delivers brand point management services that allow its clients to confidently approach the challenges of a new world marketplace.

The new address of Schawk's Cincinnati office, effective immediately, is: 537 East Pete Rose Way, Suite 100, Cincinnati, OH, USA, 45202. The telephone number, which remains the same, is 513.569.9900.
