Twinlock creator Polymount invests in US manufacturing site

Press release from the issuing company

Newnan, GA – Polymount International, manufacturer of Twinlock self-adhesive sleeves and Plate Cleaners, is in the process of setting up its US based manufacturing site. This move has solidified Polymount as a global player, boasting five European facilities, one in Asia and the newest facility in Newnan, Georgia, outside of Atlanta.

Jan Willem Boers, president and owner of Polymount, chose to put a facility in the US because of a flexographic market that surpasses Europe. He has given his full commitment and support to this venture, relocating in order to expand on the successful formula that works so well in Europe. "With over 100,000 Twinlock sleeves sold worldwide, I am vey confident in the future", Boers says.

Polymount will continue to promote the Twinlock sleeve with Wisconsin-based OEC Graphics as the selling partner. The Twinlock sleeves are a perfect fit for converters seeking a sustainable product that will achieve great impact in the pressroom. The self-adhesive sleeve guarantees time and money savings, fully eliminating the need for sticky back, the number three consumable at a flexo printer. As a result tape waste is no longer going to the landfill, making Twinlock a truly sustainable product.

Flexographic printers are adopting the Twinlock sleeves, achieving great print results, higher print speed and saving millions of dollars worth of consumables. Polymount US will be fully operational by the end of this year.
