Printing Industry of Minnesota hosts Women in Print luncheon

Roseville, MN – The Printing Industry of Minnesota, Inc. hosted a luncheon honoring women in the graphics arts and communications industry, on October 1st. Attendees included over 140 women executives at the Radisson Hotel, Roseville. PIM is a not-for-profit trade association serving companies in the printing and graphic arts industry.

Lana Siewert Olson, President of Ideal Printers and member of the PIM board of directors, attended the event and said, "All of the attendees left inspired and energized. There were more participants this year, and we plan to make it even bigger in 2010."  

The program featured Susan Nofi, a V.P at Heidelberg USA. Nofi spoke about her 20+ years at Heidelberg, involving organizational development, compliance and all human resource strategies, activities and functions for up to 1,400 employees.

"Print is definitely not dead!" said Siewert-Olson. "Print is alive and a significant piece of all communications media."
