Quark Announces Latin American Edition of QuarkXPress 7

March 2, 2007 — Miami (Graphics of the Americas) — Quark announced today that it will release a new Latin American Edition QuarkXPress 7, the award-winning software for multi-channel page-layout and graphic design. QuarkXPress 7 Latin American Edition will include the English, Spanish and Portuguese user interfaces and will start shipping to distribution partners in Q2 of 2007. “We’re seeing strong demand for the Spanish and Portuguese versions of QuarkXPress 7 in Latin America especially South America”, said Richard Pasewark, Quark Senior Vice President of Sales. “We’re excited about this release and pleased to respond to customer feedback to make QuarkXPress 7 more accessible to our Spanish and Portuguese-speaking users.” QuarkXPress 7 Latin American Edition provides user interfaces in English, Spanish and Portuguese. Users can switch freely between these languages and use fully localized menus and windows in QuarkXPress. In addition QuarkXPress 7 Latin American Edition supports spell-checking and full text authoring, following specific hyphenation and justification rules for Spanish, Portuguese, or International English. Customers who purchase the U.S. English version of QuarkXPress 7 between January 1, 2007 and September 30, 2007 can exchange their license to QuarkXPress 7 Latin American Edition at no charge when it becomes available. QuarkXPress 7 Latin American Edition will be available in the second quarter of 2007. Pricing for QuarkXPress 7 Latin American Edition will be $749 for a full license or $249 when upgrading from a previous version of QuarkXPress.
