Winchester, MA - - MPI Release LLC, a silicone coated release liner Producer, has recently added a 87" (2210 mm) wide POLYTYPE THERMAL COATER, doubled production, opened a second plant in Greenfield, Indiana and hired a new Director of Sales and Marketing.

MPI'S ongoing goal is to build on their reputation as a hands-on supplier, with personalized responsiveness to customers of any size, quick turn-around of sample Requests and Quotations and On-time Shipments of consistent quality. They stand second to none in their ability to formulate New Products within a prompt or tight time-frame.

About the New Polytype Thermal Coater:
MPI Release has purchased a world-class, high speed,  87" (2210 mm) wide, POLYTYPE THERMAL COATER for their Greenfield, Indiana plant.  Capable of applying silicone to two sides of a web in one pass, the coater also prints in-line as well as applies controlled remoisterization to a paper substrate. The acquisition enables MPI to share leadership in the Industry by producing the widest and most diverse range of release-coated Films [.00025"/ 6.4µ thin and up] and Paper, both with and without extrusion coatings, in widths up to 87" (2210 mm) mm.  

About the New Second Plant:
The acquisition of the plant in Greenfield, Indiana doubles MPI's capacity.  The new coater at the Indiana Plant delivers a vital curing capability to the Company's state-of the-art equipment line-up, which already includes both ultra violet [UV] and electron beam [EB].  These capabilities, available in widths up to 82", are located in MPI''s Winchester, MA, facility.  The acquisition not only greatly expands MPI's product offerings but also provides the security and convenience of another climate-controlled facility.  With this expansion, the company is well-positioned to take advantage of the full range of silicone chemistries available to the marketplace in connection with the engineering and development of controlled or differential release coatings for its growing list of top tier customers.
