Xerox Opens Continuous Innovation Centre in France

Press release from the issuing company

Xerox recently opened its first continuous feed customer demonstration center, just outside of Paris. The Continuous Innovation Centre showcases the latest Xerox continuous feed technology and partner solutions.

Xerox operates a similar showroom in the U.S. – its Gil Hatch Center for Customer Innovation in Rochester, N.Y., remains the world’s largest showcase of digital production printing technology. It gives visitors integrated, one-stop access to Xerox's entire portfolio of equipment and solutions. Among the cutting edge technology featured in the 100,000-square-foot center is the Xerox 490/980 Color Continuous Feed Printing System, the industry's fastest toner-based full-color continuous feed printer.

Among the European print service providers that recently purchased Xerox continuous feed systems are:

- MBA, in the U.K., invested in four Xerox 490 Color Continuous Feed Printing Systems to add full-color personalization to its print and mail business.

- Scandinavian Book installed two Xerox 650 Continuous Feed Systems to expand its digital book printing business.

Earlier this year, printer Ames On-Demand became the first company in North America to install a Xerox 980 Color Continuous Feed Printing System. The Somerville, Mass. company prints textbooks and lab manuals for higher education publishers. Ames will use the device’s productivity and image quality to enter the K-12 education and transpromotional markets.
