Kern Goes Virtual at National Postal Forum

Press release from the issuing company

Grove City, Ohio -- Kern, a global leader in high-speed, end-to-end production mail solutions is pleased to announce today that they will be exhibiting at National Postal Forum 2009, introducing for the first time the virtual and interactive KERN EXPERIENCE.

To better demonstrate Kern’s full range of product solutions, visitors to Kern’s booth will be able to get a complete review of Kern’s solution capabilities and product portfolio and leave with a better understanding of the benefits of Kern systems.  Included in the interactive demonstrations are the new Kern 2600 Inserting System, Kern 40 Mail Wrapping System, the Kern 3500 High-Speed Inserting System, and Kern mailFactory open and modular Automated Document Factory solutions.  The KERN EXPERIENCE allows visitors to navigate, at their own pace, interactive equipment demonstrations with varying levels of time commitment and technical information.

Kern will also feature demonstrations of Kern systems that will be webcasted in realtime from their Ohio headquarters.

“We are pleased to support our customers and the National Postal Forum with a new approach that harnesses the power of technology to connect booth visitors with the information that they need,”  said Dave Squires, VP of Marketing and Business Development for Kern.  “We listened to our visitors from past shows and kept hearing that they wanted to see more products.  We also believe that we can effectively reach our audience while taking an environmentally responsible approach by reducing the waste associated with equipment demonstrations.”

Todd Russell, SVP and General Manager, added “We are excited to try a new approach and in the end, the visitors to our booth will leave with a much better understanding of Kern and our product solutions.”

National Postal Forum 2009 is in Washington, D.C., May 17th through the 20th.  Show hours are Sunday 4pm to 7pm, Monday 8am to 4pm, Tuesday 8am to 4pm, and Wednesday 8am to noon.  For more information on Kern’s presence at National Postal Forum or to schedule a time for you to take the KERN EXPERIENCE, email [email protected], visit www.kerncan.com, or contact your account manager directly.
