Press release from the issuing company

Cambridge, MA -- Pageflex, a division of Bitstream Inc. and a leading developer of enterprise variable data publishing and web-to-print solutions, in conjunction InfoTrends, the leading worldwide market research and strategic consulting firm for the digital imaging and document solutions industry, announced today they will be hosting a webinar which highlights the results of the InfoTrends study entitled Multi-Channel Communications Measurement and Benchmarking. This webinar will be held on Tuesday, April 14 at 2:00 PM ET.

Multi-channel communications have become increasingly important in today’s challenging economy where marketers are facing shrinking budgets and experiencing a greater need to justify a return on their marketing investment. Print service providers are responding to those needs by expanding their offerings to include multi-channel communications.

The Multi-Channel Communications Measurement and Benchmarking study provides insight into these trends and opportunities. It includes perspectives from over 200 corporate marketing professionals and over 300 print/marketing service providers, and discusses the impact of multi-channel communications to each constituency in the value chain. The study also explores strategies related to campaign tracking and measurement, software solutions, and staffing.

The webinar will be led by industry expert Barbara Pellow, Group Leader at InfoTrends. Ms. Pellow is a frequent speaker at industry events and recognized author, with extensive experience working with companies to help them create sales and marketing strategies. Before joining InfoTrends, Ms. Pellow was the Chief Marketing Officer of Kodak's Graphic Communications Group, where she was responsible for all marketing activities for the division.

Joining Ms. Pellow on the webinar will be Calvin Gruclski, Variable Data Architect at the Standard Group. Calvin will discuss how he has used multi-channel communications to meet the marketing, communications and business growth challenges that most companies face today.

InfoTrends Group Leader Barb Pellow commented on the importance of this type of communications, saying: “Multi-channel communications offer the highly profitable and measurable campaigns that marketers are seeking, and enable print service providers to position themselves as a valued partner by including this offering in their portfolio. Multi-channel communications represent an opportunity for print service providers to gain market differentiation and increased customer loyalty due to the effective results that these campaigns deliver.”

Attendees of the webinar will receive an excert of the Executive Summary of Infotrends' Multi-Channel Communications report for free.
