MEI's Director of Business Dev. to Speak at Conference

Jenkintown, PA -- Managing Editor Inc. (MEI), an Adobe premier development partner and a leading provider of software solutions for the publishing industry, today announced that Mark Walter, the company's director of business development, will be speaking at the 2009 CRE8 Conference. The event is scheduled for April 15-16 at the Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando, Fla.

The presentation, titled "Managed Workflow for Publishing: Why, How and ROI," takes place Thursday, April 16, at 3:15 p.m., as part of the conference's "Strategy & Management" track. Walter will discuss the benefits of using workflow-management software to foster collaboration in creative environments, describing popular solutions and specific publishers who have already benefited from using them.

This educational session will provide attendees with a better understanding of how full-featured publishing systems can integrate the work of editors, designers, Web teams and others. Walter will emphasize how shared design and editorial processes, a centralized content database and integrated workflow-management tools can shorten cycle times, reduce errors, cut costs and increase revenue opportunities.

The CRE8 Conference is an annual event for design and marketing professionals that has the goal of improving the effectiveness of creative and marketing efforts.
