The Premier Paper Group which has been present in Scotland for many years has now opened a 16,000sqft warehouse in Glasgow to provide local stocks and an improved service for the Scottish market.

Stephen Paul, Regional Director of merchant division Premier Beswick, commented; ”The new branch operation represents a significant investment for the Company and demonstrates our commitment to the Scottish market.  Our customers now have access to local stocks with the Glasgow warehouse capable of holding up to 1,000 tonnes of paper for same day or next day delivery. We have five dedicated delivery vehicles operating from the branch and as a result of this investment we have created six new positions.

At a time when many paper merchants are centralising their operations and moving away from customers we believe that it is important to support our customers with an efficient local service.”
