WorkflowOne Appoints New CIO

Press release from the issuing company

Dayton, Ohio -- WorkflowOne, a leading provider of business process outsourcing services for print and promotional marketing,  today announced that Robert M. Whittington has joined the company as chief information officer. He will report to chief operating officer Dean Truitt.

Whittington was formerly senior vice president and CIO for Wendy's International, where he led a successful restructuring effort that reduced costs and improved quality and service across the global chain's 6,000 restaurants prior to its acquisition by Triarc Companies, Inc., owner of Arby's.

"Rob's experience as an operating executive and a consultant has prepared him to drive positive change in information technology functions at companies undergoing transformation," said Truitt. "Having worked in a variety of client business models, he is well equipped to grasp the challenges faced by WorkflowOne's diverse customers and deliver market-leading solutions to facilitate their growth."

Whittington began his career as a consultant for Arthur Andersen & Co., working on large scale systems development. He moved to Ernst & Young in 1985 and spent 17 years with the firm working on a variety of transformation programs for leading companies involving major custom development projects, business process reengineering, ERP deployments, process and technology outsourcing, and interim CIO roles. Prior to Wendy's, he also held leadership positions at Electronic Data Systems and Sun Microsystems.

Whittington received his B.A. degree in English from Wheaton College and an M.B.A. degree from the University of Chicago.
