Wednesday, February 28, 2007

Press release from the issuing company

CHICAGO, Feb. 27 -- R.R. Donnelley today announced that it has re-branded UK-based Astron, an RR Donnelley company, as RR Donnelley Global Document Solutions. The renaming reflects the expansion of its leading end-to-end document management and business process outsourcing (BPO) capabilities and integration with RR Donnelley's global resources. RR Donnelley acquired Astron in 2005. "This renaming represents much more than merely a change in logos," said Paul Masterton, President RR Donnelley Europe. "It signals that we are actively transforming document management and business process outsourcing worldwide." RR Donnelley Global Document Solutions has a substantial worldwide presence with established operations in 15 countries and provides comprehensive document management and BPO solutions that meet a wide range of business needs, including document management, financial management, pre-media, print and publishing, research and analytics and transaction outsourcing services. "This re-branding reflects state-of-the art technologies and investments that have dramatically expanded our worldwide capabilities in comprehensive document management and BPO services," added Bob Nelson, President RR Donnelley Global Document Solutions. "Now customers can draw on our new CustomPoint (SM) Intelligent Print Management portal, unmatched global logistics network, worldwide BPO resources, and the experience and expertise of our document management specialists -- for true end-to-end multiple-service solutions. Global Document Solutions is the new name for proven, integrated Inbound, Document Facilities Management, and Outbound services across the world."
