MicroPRINT Holds Own in Tough Economy

Press release from the issuing company

WALTHAM, Mass. and ROCHESTER, N.Y -- Anticipating customer needs and expectations means repeat business, which is a golden nugget to survive today's competitive and challenging business environment. To maintain and grow its marketshare, MicroPRINT is using Xerox Corporation's technology, including its most recent installation of the Xerox iGen4 press with XMPie personalization software.

MicroPRINT, in Waltham, Mass., is a complete digital shop that profits by providing customers with quality color printing, quick turnaround times and excellent customer service. Installing the iGen4 press and XMPie's uDirect Studio, while continuing to leverage the company's iGen3 press and Xerox DocuColor 242 Digital Color Printer, has allowed the printer to produce full-color booklets, brochures, manuals and personalized direct mail more efficiently and around the clock.

MicroPRINT has increased productivity to reduced overtime costs, beat out competitors for personalized and short turnaround jobs, and significantly improved image quality through the combination of the Xerox iGen4 and XMPie's color excellence and automation features. Using Xerox technology, the printer looks to open up new revenue opportunities for its broad range of customers including advertisers, publishing companies and education and medical organizations.

"Our customers rely on us for impressive image quality and meeting impossible deadlines," said Brian Solov, president, MicroPRINT. "The installation of the Xerox iGen4 does just that by running at amazing speeds, and automating the tedious task of color profiling, increasing color stability over time and Pantone-color matching."
