BALTIMORE & DAYTON, Ohio -- Salar, Inc., an electronic clinical document solutions provider, announced today that it has aligned with document workflow and automation services provider Standard Register to offer solutions to hospitals wishing to transition from traditional paper-based processes to more efficient and cost-effective electronic documentation.

Under the agreement, Salar’s product, TeamNotes EmbeddedTM, will be made available to Standard Register’s extensive client base, which includes 62 percent of United States hospitals. TeamNotes EmbeddedTM is designed to integrate electronic clinical forms into other existing applications to increase capabilities while creating a simple and efficient user experience. Capable of creating and deploying everything from basic consent forms to advanced clinical documentation notes, TeamNotes EmbeddedTM is a dynamic solution that is easily customized to address users’ specific document needs.

“That a company as established and respected in the healthcare industry as Standard Register has chosen to work with Salar is an indication of our product’s potential to significantly impact hospitals looking to adopt electronic processes,” said Todd Johnson, President, Salar. “We are excited that this relationship will enable Standard Register to provide its clients with new capabilities as well as introduce Salar to many new hospitals across the country.”

“As more and more healthcare industry leaders have realized the future of efficient operations lies in electronic processes, Standard Register has been evolving its service offerings to assist clients in making the transition from paper to digital,” said Brad Cates, vice president and general manager of Standard Register’s Healthcare business unit. “After seeing Salar’s ability to design simple solutions to automate sophisticated processes, we recognized they would be an ideal partner.”
