dsicmm completes move into new site in Dagenham

Press release from the issuing company

Customer communications specialist, dsicmm group has successfully completed a consolidation of all of its business units based in the South East of England into a new super-site at Dagenham.  Not only are the former dsi and cmm facilities now merged in this new location, but they are also joined by the recently acquired Emeness assets.  The consolidated super-site puts all the company’s key customer communications, software, data management, print, enclosure, fulfilment and other facilities under a single roof.  However, the company has also maintained its nationwide footprint with other sites in Jarrow, Manchester, Peterborough and Northampton.

The new Dagenham super-site is designed to provide dsicmm clients with a multi-capability facility where innovative document re-engineering can take place under one roof.  dsicmm specialises in helping organisations to redesign their communications so that they generate greater response and customer satisfaction, while at the same time delivering production and distribution efficiencies.  The Dagenham facility also offers clients the ability to achieve an optimum balance between print and online communications, often with one driving traffic to the other.  Demand for integrated solutions, using different print technologies and electronic delivery channels, is undergoing strong growth.

This new site marks the latest stage in the company’s strategic development.  dsicmm embarked on its combined organic and acquisition-based development strategy some four years ago, and over that period has grown the company through initiatives such as the foundation of its international mail business, and through the acquisition of high quality companies such as K2, and most recently, the Emeness group.  dsicmm group now has an annual turnover of over £120 million.

Yolanda Noble, Chief Executive of dsicmm, comments, “Our strategic goal to become the top print and communications company in the country has now reached its next major stage with the successful merger of several disparate sites in the South East into a single facility.  Our original strategy remains unchanged, even during a low economic period.  We shall continue to develop innovative solutions for integrated communications and document re-engineering, utilising the huge pool of expertise now resident across our centres in the South East, East Midlands, the North East and the North West.”
