Find Out How Digital Photos Can Become Digital Profit

Press release from the issuing company

Lexington, Kentucky USA -- WhatTheyThink.com today announced the opportunity for industry professionals to attend a free printing industry educational webinar. Digital Photos Equal Digital Profit, which will be led by industry expert Barbara A. Pellow, Group Director of Production Services for research firm InfoTrends.  Sponsored by HP Graphic Arts, the event will be held Wednesday, April 15th, from 2:00 to 3:00 pm EDT (-4 GMT).

No-charge registration is available here.

“For years, we have heard the adage, ‘a picture is worth a thousand words’,” said Pellow.  “Our aim in this session is to share the experiences of savvy print service providers who are linking digital pictures to thousands of dollars in revenues.  This session will review photo applications, and more importantly, how digital printers are cashing in on the market opportunity.”

Pellow will be joined by

  • Mike Limbach, President, Proven Direct.  Previously a 100% direct marketing focused company, Proven Direct entered the photo products manufacturing business in 2006 and is currently a supplier to several of the world’s largest consumer and professional Internet-based personal publishing services.
  • Rick Bellamy, CIO, Reischling Press (RPI).  RPI is fueling the rapid growth in mass-customized manufacturing and fulfillment for the consumer print-on-demand market.  The company’s broad range of blue chip retail and online photo publishing customers rely on its consistent, reliable execution, creative product design services and best of breed manufacturing for the rapid delivery of innovative products utilizing consumer-generated content.

“Photo products represent one of the hottest markets in the printing industry,” said Randy Davidson, President, WhatTheyThink. “We are excited to be bringing this type of valuable information to our readers as they look for ways to generate new revenue in a time of economic turbulence.  We appreciate the fact that HP Graphic Arts is sponsoring this important session, allowing us to make it available at no charge.”

Attendees will be able to participate in a live question and answer session to get the most from the experience and will be able to view and listen to the presentation using a standard Internet browser with audio streamed via computer.
