Document Imaging Solutions at AIIM Conference from Océ

Press release from the issuing company

Philadelphia, PA -- Océ Business Services, a leader in document process management and electronic discovery services, will highlight its records management and document imaging solutions at the AIIM (Association for Information and Image Management) International Exposition and Conference. Company executives will also present how organizations can improve their records management programs by applying the latest Six Sigma performance management systems.

One of these systems is Océ MAX, being used exclusively by Océ clients to achieve continuous improvement in their document processes. In one example, a research and development company that works with the federal government decided to automate the tracking of compliance as a key performance indicator using Océ Max. The new tracking process enabled the company to increase efficiency and eliminate 15 hours per month per manager spent manually preparing compliance reports at various facilities.

At this year's conference, taking place in Philadelphia March 30 – April 2, 2009 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, experts from Océ will be on hand to help organizations and records management professionals better understand how document process management can help them reduce costs and drive efficiency when facing challenges posed by the economic downturn.

A presentation by Océ executives Stephen Olson, national director, best practices and Leslie Church, document management and information technology specialist, will take place on Wednesday, April 1st from 3:30 to 4:00 p.m. in the Learning Pavilion. The session will feature a case study that illustrates how organizations can use new, innovative document performance management approaches to achieve the following:

    •    Measure/continuously improve records/imaging management program performance
    •    Reduce or eliminate disruptions in workflow
    •    Implement performance tracking to ensure accountability and compliance

"Because organizations are dealing with tough business challenges, many document management professionals are being asked to do more with less," notes Elizabeth Halaki, chief marketing officer for Océ Business Services. "Our team is on hand at the convention to help executives gain valuable skills, in such areas as document performance management, which can enable them to stay ahead of the curve and find solutions to help their company weather the economic storm."
