Neenah Paper Releases Mobile Apps

Press release from the issuing company

ALPHARETTA, Ga --  Neenah Paper is pleased to introduce another exciting first in the paper industry: a series of useful applications for BlackBerry smartphones. The first application provides mobile access to Neenah's popular eco-calculator and is available now. It allows the user to instantly calculate the environmental savings from using paper made with post consumer fiber as well as the savings from using paper made with 100% renewable energy. Neenah Paper offers a wide selection of recycled and sustainable premium papers including the CLASSIC and ENVIRONMENT Brands.

"Merchant and printing sales representatives in the field are calling on design studios and printing offices around the world, selling our Neenah Green premium papers. They need information at their fingertips, and sometimes have limited access to an internet connection. Because information is power, a wireless application like our eco-calculator brings real value in real time. Decisions can be made faster, and that is critical to our customers," says Meredith Grant, Environmental Marketing Representative at Neenah Paper.

By simply entering the amount of paper needed for a project, the Neenah Paper eco-calculator provides the amazing environmental savings realized by choosing recycled papers consisting of different levels of post consumer fiber content. Displayed immediately on the screen, the savings are measured in wood, water, energy, carbon emissions, and solid waste. This instant access is an important tool when energy conservation and sustainability are contributing factors in the customer's decision-making process for today's paper specification.
