Insight Forums Re-Launched

Press release from the issuing company

Boston, MA -- Insight Forums, LLC today announced its independence following a management buyout. Led by industry analyst veterans Elizabeth Gooding and Steve Weissman, the firm cultivates business communities for communications professionals in highly regulated industries like finance, insurance, and healthcare. At its center is a vibrant information exchange network that includes an online community, educational webinars, and three highly regarded in-person events: the Financial Communications Forum, the Shareholder Notice & Access Symposium, and the Healthcare Communications Forum.

“The re-launch of Insight Forums extends each of its signature events with an online business network that brings tremendous added value to both members and sponsors,” said Elizabeth Gooding, President of Insight Forums. “All participants benefit from their exposure to expert perspectives on strategy, regulatory trends, and enabling technology.”

The intelligence the company provides is contributed by independent experts and by Insight Forums itself, which also offers market research, competitive analysis, best-practice strategy consulting and case study development. Gooding and Weissman each bring more than 20 years of experience and a strong reputation for innovation and practical guidance to the company.

“The business side of social media is a wave we will help our clients ride toward success,” said Steve Weissman, Senior Analyst at the company. “Online business communities, virtual meetings and innovative ‘distributed-live’ meetings are critical tools for firms and individuals to use if they are to stay on top of emerging trends while minimizing travel.”

A new study from Forrester Research reinforces this point, concluding, “interactive marketers must move beyond experimentation by making social applications a permanent part of marketing, measuring and demonstrating their value, and integrating them into marketing efforts.”

Prior to re-launching Insight Forums, Gooding founded Art Plus Technology, which provides information design strategy and a software-as-services platform for financial services, insurance, and healthcare communications. Steve Weissman was the founder of Kinetic Information, a software industry analyst firm he led for 12 years in the capture, content, and business process management arenas.
