Tower Wash Recieves Heidelberg/Fogra Approval

Press release from the issuing company

Easton, PA - TOWER PRODUCTS, INC., a leading manufacturer of environmentally sensitive pressroom chemistry, has announced that its innovative, new technology, already available to printers in Southern California to comply with new VOC regulations (Rule 1171), has received approval from Heidelberg/FOGRA for sheetfed automatic blanket wash units.

LO-VO Wash CA-100 exceeds the stringent new regulations for roller and blanket washes that direct printers to use press washes with a VOC content of under 100 grams per liter. Printers across the country now have an approved product to help them lower their VOC’s and help them with their “Green Initiatives.” LO-VO Wash CA-100 is formulated for sheetfed and web printers that require solid cleaning power and a product that can be used both manually and in automatic blanket wash units.  The product features a low odor, a very high flashpoint of 221 degrees F and is water miscible. This product does not contain acetone, a very flammable material sometimes used to decrease VOC content.

Tower brand pressroom chemical products are available throughout the world from authorized Tower distributors.  For more information, please contact our Customer Care Department at 800.527.8626 or visit our website at www.towerproducts.com.
