Press release from the issuing company

Minneapolis, MN - Buhrs, the leading international provider of mailing solutions, is partnering with Hunkeler and IBIS at Hunkeler innovationdays in Lucerne , Switzerland from 16 to 19 February, demonstrating an integrated solution for assembling and inserting documents.  The Buhrs BB700 Pocket Envelope Inserting System is a key part of this latest method of intelligently collating documents, binding them to form a complete brochure with a protective cover, and then inserting them into an envelope with the flap on the short side.  Particularly appropriate for the insurance market, the application is also well-suited to direct marketing, banking, and any other instance in which personalized documents are mailed in booklet form.
Commenting on the productivity achievable with equipment configurations such as the one being demonstrated in Switzerland , Buhrs Americas President and CEO Michael Aumann said: "Collation, binding and insertion systems such as these offer mailers the ultimate in flexibility and the ability to customize mailings for their clients.  The order of pages or documents can be monitored using bar codes, and the completeness of the entire package verified throughout the entire production run."
