Fry Communications Chooses Pro-Mail

Press release from the issuing company

Rocky Hill, CT -- When Fry Communications, an integrated communications company in southern Pennsylvania, started looking for a software solution to work with their legacy system, their goal was to find a system that would help them to automate and manage their growing direct mail and fulfillment operations efficiently. After comparing their options, they chose The Pro-Mail System.

Fry Communications serves a number of markets, including healthcare, automotive aftermarket, retail, book publishers, telecommunications providers, and government. To stay ahead of the curve, they're pursuing new ways to expand their business segments. They've dedicated one of their five facilities in PA to a full direct mail and traditional and digital fulfillment operation. The goal is to take on new lines of business, lock in repeat customers, and increase revenues with this new venture.

What Fry needed was a comprehensive solution that could work along with their proprietary system to manage their growing direct marketing and fulfillment business. They had heard of Pro-Mail from several contacts in the print industry and other local companies that use that system. Pro-Mail's reputation as a fully integrated solution made it a perfect match for Fry's growing business. Fry will use Pro-Mail in conjunction with their legacy system, creating various touch-points to pass data between each application.

"As the marketplace evolves, businesses today are finding that they need an integrated solution that can handle the needs of their printing, mailing, and fulfillment operations in one unified system," Denise S. Lunden, President, Software Marketing Associates, Inc. (SMA) says. "The Pro-Mail System was designed to do just that."

Having both The Pro-Mail Fulfillment Solution and Business Management Solution in place allows Fry Communications to penetrate new market segments and take on new lines of business. They will look to the system to provide more customer facing features, as well as improve operational efficiencies. Implementation and training on both systems are currently underway. Senior members of Fry's staff have been working closely with SMA on configuring the system to meet their needs. Additionally, an SMA support specialist will be onsite in June to assist Fry's team with further training and implementation.
