Press release from the issuing company

Cal Poly Graphic Communication Institute Expert Dr. Penny Bennett to present current research

Lexington, Kentucky USA – WhatTheyThink, a leading media, market intelligence and research company for the printing and publishing industries, today announced an important education session to be presented on August 5th, 2009, in partnership with the Graphic Communication Institute (GrCI) at Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo. Dr. Penny Bennett, an internationally-known authority in the field, will be presenting based on a large body of knowledge developed through University research. Participants may register for this affordable session at the webinar registration page.

“Nearly every producer of inkjet and toner knows that there is a huge future for such products in commercial printing as consumer printers become larger and faster and printing presses become more digital with smaller footprints,” said Randy Davidson, President of WhatTheyThink.  “Researchers at Cal Poly’s Graphic Communication Institute, led by Dr. Penny Bennett, have been examining this topic in a significant way. Vendors are increasingly asking the lab to test and evaluate their products relative to traditional printing ink.  We are pleased that GCrI has agreed to share their research during this WhatTheyThink webinar.”

The program will be conducted on August 5th, 2009, from 2PM to 3PM EDT, and can be accessed for an affordable fee of $99. This includes attendance at the live program and access to the webinar archive for later review. Program details follow:
