NAPC and Data Revolution join forces

Press release from the issuing company

Waltham, MA -- NAPC and Data Revolution – Xinet integrators in the U.S. and U.K., respectively – today announced that they will be offering their international clients the benefits of their combined service, support and expertise. In addition, Data Revolution will be offering NAPC's robust digital asset management toolset, BrandControl, to its customers.

"Customers are now global," said Robert J. Steinberg, CEO and President of NAPC. "We need to help them move toward a global workflow, with shared best practices and the lowest cost of production. By partnering with Data Revolution, the most rapidly growing Xinet integrator in the U.K., we're now leading the charge towards greater efficiency and seamless production across borders, regardless of different workflow or production methods."

Marcus Wright, co-founder and director of Data Revolution, added, "We're really happy to be partnering with a leader like NAPC. Together, we're able to offer proper 24/7 support to high priority clients, work closely on international business, and reciprocate business and services. For clients, it's like dealing with one international company."

The new arrangement will provide global companies with a major advantage. NAPC and Data Revolution can now seamlessly meet client needs for training and installation in locations abroad, as well as transfer over a company's intellectual property in areas like configuration and metadata. Clients no longer have to start over with a new integrator.

NAPC has done several European installs with Data Revolution already, most notably for the Marketing Store's Birmingham office.

Earlier this year, the two companies worked together on a case-by-case basis, to test that it was both a cultural and technical fit. "There's been a real synthesis," said Steinberg. "We've brought U.S. best practices to them and they've brought U.K. best practices to us. We've cross-trained support staff and engineers. It's been a natural fit."

Under the partnership, NAPC's BrandControl tools are now available internationally for the first time. "Being able to offer Brand Control gives us a great advantage in the European market. In terms of robustness, manageability and stability, NAPC's applications offer best-of-breed solutions to our clients' requirements. We now have the ability to offer these solutions as part of our overall product portfolio," said Wright.

BrandControl's add-ons for Xinet WebNative include the customizable Elegant GUI, CreativeBanks for managing user access, Native Security for password protection, nTransit for large file distribution, and Report Generator for data on Xinet usage.

While this partnership is a win-win for both companies, Xinet clients will be the real beneficiaries. "Customers get more knowledge, more skills, more hours, more products. What could be better?" said Steinberg.
