Dynagram announces DynaStrip 6.0

Press release from the issuing company

Quebec, Canada -- Dynagram, the industry leader in imposition solutions, announces a major upgrade to its flagship imposition product, DynaStrip version 6.0. Due to release in the first half of the 3rd quarter, DynaStrip 6.0 focuses on features to make imposition creation and editing more productive. This includes a complete update of the workstyles, and an all-new Layout Re-flow feature that makes global changes for all signatures a single click.

Complete Update of the Workstyles
The workstyles functionality has been completely reworked to offer more flexibility for work & turn jobs. On the light table, when adding a sheet with a Work & Turn or Work & Tumble attribute, a symmetry axis line will be drawn in the middle of the surface to split it in two halves, simulating the front and the back. When placing objects (such as pages or marks) on the front half of a sheet, the back-half is automatically mirrored making for perfect alignment and visual confirmation. This feature will ease the creation of complete multi-sheet jobs using Work & Turn workstyles and provide a powerful tool for ganging jobs with a Work & Turn (or tumble) workstyle.

The New Layout Reflow feature
The all-new Layout Re-flow feature is designed to make changes to multi-sheet layouts as simple as a single click. With this new feature, users can modify layout attributes, page and sheet marks on the first signature or modify the document list then by clicking the “Re-Flow” button the entire job is re-flowed based on all the new changes. No need to manually add/remove signatures or make new templates for minor global changes.

Other Enhancements
In addition to the powerful new workstyles and Re-Flow feature, DynaStrip 6.0 will also offer a variety of other enhancements and updates throughout the software to increase productivity and flexibility. This includes totally customizable side-guides, enhanced output options to compensate for web growth, and new control options for many marks.

“Customers want more productivity” said Michael Reiher, Director of Sales and Marketing for Dynagram. “DynaStrip is our flagship product with thousands of users all over the world. We wanted to make sure we were adding new features that focused in on helping them getting their job done easier and faster so they can be more competitive in today’s market”.

DynaStrip 6.0 will be available early in the 3rd quarter. Upgrades will be available to DynaStrip 5.X customers either direct from Dynagram or from local distributors and dealers. DynaStrip 4.X customers should contact Dynagram sales directly before August 1st, for upgrade and eligibility options.  To find out more about upgrading or for a dealer in your area, email [email protected].
