IGI Names Curriculum Manager

Pewaukee, Wisconsin -- The Institute for Graphics and Imaging (IGI)—an education and training organization funded by and dedicated to the printing and graphic arts industry—has named Barbara Hoeft as Curriculum Manager.  In this new position, Hoeft will develop, schedule, and supervise IGI training courses, creating an entire curriculum to train graphic arts personnel.  Hoeft holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Technical Communications with emphasis in Print Management from the University of Wisconsin—Platteville.  She held a number of graphic arts and production positions at various Quad/Graphics companies before joining IGI, and has extensive experience with graphic design software.
 
Announcing the appointment, IGI Executive Director Ron Dahl commented: “The Institute for Graphics and Imaging is fortunate to gain the experience Barbara Hoeft brings to developing and managing its training curriculum.  Her extensive contacts in the graphic arts community in the upper Midwest also will benefit IGI.”
