Press release from the issuing company

Understanding the New Print Buyer and How to Differentiate a Print Business Critical to Future Success

Lexington, Kentucky USA – WhatTheyThink, a leading media, market intelligence and research company for the printing and publishing industries, today announced the keynote speakers for its exclusive printer-only event, Print CEO Forum, which will be conducted at the prestigious University Club in Chicago on September 11th and 12th, 2009.  This two-day event will precede Print 09 at McCormick Place.

More information about the event, including a complete agenda, can be found by visiting http://PrintCEOForum.com

“We are very excited to have two industry thought leaders as keynote speakers at this important event,” said Randy Davidson, President of WhatTheyThink.  “Bob Lieber, CEO of Original Thought LLC, will be our keynote speaker on Day One. Bob has a long history in the advertising and direct marketing business and will be able to share great insights about what today’s buyers look for in a differentiated print business.  On Day Two, we are thrilled to have Jim Mikol join us.  Jim is an Executive Vice President at noted agency Leo Burnett and also serves on the Executive Committee of the Print Council. The changes taking place at Leo Burnett are a harbinger of how the world of print and media buying is shifting.”

In addition to these two keynotes, the Print CEO Forum will feature a panel of marketing executives who represent the future of print and media buying. “In putting the program together,” added Davidson, “we have focused on what successful printing firms are doing to address the structural change our industry is undergoing, as well as the external forces that are driving much of that structural change.  Including representatives of the new generation of print and media buyers on the agenda will bring an important viewpoint to print executives as they formulate their go-forward strategies.”

The Print CEO Forum will also include highlights of Print 09, North America’s largest printing trade show being held at Chicago’s McCormick Place through September 16th.  “By adding Print 09 highlights to the program,” added Davidson, “we will be assisting owners and managers of printing businesses in making their show visit more productive, especially in light of what they will have learned during the Forum.”

Attendance is limited to 150 senior printing executives.  More information about the event, including a complete agenda, can be found by visiting http://PrintCEOForum.com or by emailing [email protected].
