Escher-Grad Expands Asian Operations and Appoints John Lee as Director of Business Development, Asia Pacific

Montreal-February 20th, 2007- Escher-Grad Technologies Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of John Lee as Director of Business Development for Asia Pacific. A dedicated team player, he joins an elite group of professionals to ensure the strategic growth of the Cobalt-series of violet CTP systems. With this increasing emphasis on the growing Asian Market, Escher-Grad is also pleased to announce the opening of a new sales office in Hong Kong on April 1, 2007. With 12 years of sales, management and business expertise in the graphic arts and consumer photography industry, Mr. Lee brings a wealth of experience to Escher-Grad's management team and will provide leadership and direction in the development and implementation of the company's growth strategy throughout Asia Pacific. Mr. Lee held a lead role in developing trade policies, marketing research and customer care programs for the franchise of Agfa Copal mini-labs in China, and in 1999, was one of the first members of the team to enter China, where he successfully developed and managed the company's distribution network. While with China Technology Center, Mr. Lee was responsible for project management for Asia's 24-hour digital news network and MBC Korea World Cup Project. Most recently, Mr. Lee was Director of Sales & Marketing for the software division of the Founder Group of Beijing China, where he was responsible for more than 50% of the division's annual revenue and held the title of Top Sales Director for four straight years. Mr. Lee holds a masters degree in International Business Relations and is fluent in English, Mandarin, Korean and Spanish.
