Xenith 6.1 introduces new features such as two-bit screening for all inkjet proofers with direct drivers in Xenith; the JDF Remote Output option; and hold-before-output CIP4. Two-bit inkjet proofer screening provides a high-quality proof when sending output to many of the popular inkjet proofing devices supported by Xenith. Among these are some of the most popular devices from Hewlett Packard and Epson. Xenith users with a current Xitron support agreement are eligible to receive a complimentary upgrade to the new version when done in conjunction with a WebEx installation bundle from Xitron - or through a Xitron Xenith certified technician. Other customers may purchase the upgrade for between $750 and $4,000, depending on their current software level. Alternatively, if customers renew a support agreement, they will receive the upgrade at a special price.
