Finch Paper Unveils New Operator's Box

Press release from the issuing company

Glens Falls, NY -- Finch Paper (NY), known for delivering value, has improved the way digital paper is packed, offering efficient handling for the printer. Digital production press sheet sizes such as 18x12 and 19x13 of Finch's updated digital uncoated line are now shipping in a new "Operator's Box." The user-friendly packaging allows for easy opening and closing of the carton from the end -- especially advantageous when paper is stored on printers' shelves. As a result, cartons can be accessed easily, safely, and much more quickly than conventional boxes. In addition, the moisture barrier carton protects the paper when stored for the next job.

"The feedback that we've received on the package design has been highly positive.  Customers are telling us that they appreciate the added efficiencies and safety in accessing our paper," says Anthony McDowell, Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Customers will find Finch "Operator's Box" packaging for the following digital uncoated papers:

- Finch Fine Color Copy for the Xerox iGen, Kodak Nexpress, Canon imagePress and others
- Finch Fine iD for HP Indigo presses
- Finch Opaque Digital for the HP Indigo, Xerox iGen, Kodak Nexpress, Canon imagePress and others
- Finch Casa Opaque Digital for the Xerox iGen, Kodak Nexpress, Canon imagePress and others

The new "Operator's Box" is in keeping with Finch's promise of "Value Delivered", and part of recent improvements to its product portfolio, packaging and support materials designed to make it even easier to choose Finch.  The new initiatives include: broader selections of digital and traditional papers that match across platforms, more environmental choices delivering high quality for less money, and papers that are easier to order using new swatchbooks, an at-a-glance stocking guide, and trial packs.
