CGS presented the latest Product Highlights at XEROX Innovation Session

Press release from the issuing company

Hainburg (Germany) / Minneapolis MN -- CGS Publishing Technologies International, global leader of color management solutions, digital proofing systems and specially formulated media, was a gold sponsor of the XEROX Innovation Session 2009, Neuss, Germany, June 16 – 18, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of XEROX Germany and the re-opening of it's showroom. ORIS Press Matcher Pro™ and ORIS Press Matcher™ were demonstrated live on various XEROX production systems to the more than 1,000 interested visitors during the three-day event. At the same time, many industry experts used the opportunity to participate in two workshops CGS hosted on 'Added value in digital printing through offset quality'. One of the first to inform herself about the latest developments from CGS, was XEROX Chairman and CEO, Anne Mulcahy, who gave the keynote speech at the opening ceremony.

Trevor Haworth, managing director of CGS GmbH, visited the event personally, and was highly satisfied. "Xerox and CGS are united by a global strategic partnership; with good reason as CGS has been awarded the XEROX 'Partnership of the Year' award. Clearly, the current economic situation works in favor of digital printing. At the same time it is essential, especially for traditional printers, that both methods produce identical, repeatable results. This is where ORIS Press Matcher technology ideally compliments XEROX printing systems, from the entry-level model to high-volume production systems like the iGen4. Today, ORIS Press Matcher is the production backbone in many digital printing companies, automatically managing the complete color workflow. You can expect further exciting developments in this area at Print '09 in Chicago in September."
