Tukaiz Expands Facility and Upgrades Infrastructure

Press release from the issuing company

Franklin Park, IL, -- Tukaiz, a leader in marketing communications production services, is in the final stages of completing a major facility expansion as well as extensive upgrades to its equipment and technologies. Known for its progressive business model, these recent initiatives are in response to evolving market demands for end-to-end creative production and fulfillment services. Most notably, Tukaiz increased its facility size by 20 percent. The company’s sizeable expansion vastly enhances its in-house capabilities. Tukaiz can now provide greater fulfillment, warehousing, and mailing services to its diverse client base. Additionally, Tukaiz’s strong brand and marketing efforts significantly contribute to its positive position and continued growth in the marketplace.

After a year in development, Tukaiz recently introduced its proprietary integrated online print management (OPM) software solution that is transforming the way companies can experience the on-demand print process. Developed entirely in-house by the Tukaiz programming and interactive teams, and fully integrated into the company’s output devices and workflow,  the software offers robust technology that delivers a true on-demand experience—allowing users to simply place orders from the desktop and know that their marketing materials will be delivered within 48 hours. This ground-breaking OPM software provides a new level of personalized print and inventoried marketing materials on demand.

“At Tukaiz, we make it a point to avoid the negativity in the news surrounding the down economy and keep our vision focused and positive. It’s our winning formula of innovation and drive instilled in us from our founder and CEO Frank Defino Sr. that’s kept us an industry leader for over 46 years,” said Frank Defino, Jr., vice president and managing director of Tukaiz. “Our investment in software development, new equipment, and expanded facility space is really a re-investment in our business and our clients’ success.  It reinforces Tukaiz’s dedication to continually nurture marketers with support and a keen eye on trends that will impact their future business requirements.”

Additionally, Tukaiz fully retrofitted another one of its Heidelberg presses with a UV coater, as well as invested in additional state-of-the-art equipment, including two large-format flatbed presses for POP and POS applications. These investments significantly increase the company’s capacity to meet the growing demand for wide format digital and offset applications that require a diverse offering of specialty substrates in short- or long-run quantities.
