R and R Images Add HP Indigo 7000 Digital Press

Press release from the issuing company

(January 12, 2009) R and R Images, Inc. announces the purchase of a new HP Indigo 7000 Digital Press. This significant upgrade will launch R and R Images, Inc. into 2009, leveraging the latest technology to their advantage and helping to continue to position the company as a market innovator in the digital communications industry. The company is the first in Arizona to acquire the HP Indigo 7000, and to date one of only a handful of companies in the western United States to purchase this new, state of the art technology from HP.

This purchase demonstrates R and R's commitment to providing clients with the latest in digital print technology. Not only will the HP 7000 help enhance R and R's already successful consumer and professional photo printing capabilities, but as clients see the benefits of the more complex Variable Date Printing (VDP) they will be extremely pleased with the higher response rates and the improved ROI created with more complex projects.

The six color HP Indigo 7000 delivers fast production speed of 120 four-color A4 (letter size) pages per minute with offset and photo quality. It is optimized to print large numbers of static jobs with run lengths ranging from one copy into the thousands, as well as variable-data work showcasing the "every page is different" capabilities of digital.

The HP Indigo 7000 is gentle to the environment with on-press oil recycling, lower electricity consumption per printed page, long consumables life resulting in reduced waste, ability to print on recycled paper, elimination of make-ready waste (as compared to conventional) and ability to print the precise quantity required.

"Upgrading to the HP Indigo 7000 Digital Press will enable us to pursue new opportunities and continue to serve our current clients in the most efficient and cost effective way we know how. We can remain competitive across the marketplace while giving our customers exactly what they need. Results are what matter to our clients, and we can guarantee this time and again." says Rod Key, CEO of the $6.5 million firm.
