GMG records sales growth in 2008

Press release from the issuing company

Tuebingen (January 9, 2009) – GMG, supplier of high-end color management and proofing solutions, today announced that the company had in 2008 been able to achieve once again a significant growth in sales compared to 2007.

In the past 12 months of 2008, GMG increased its sales by more than 4% compared to 2007. The greatest increases were recorded in Benelux, Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia and Middle East. However, sales also rose at an above-average rate in other countries and regions, e.g. in France and Scandinavia.  The German-speaking area is still the largest and most important single market for GMG, accounting for roughly one-third of sales.

"We are once again pleased with the sales trend in 2008. Our growth has been continuously ongoing since 2004," says Robert Weihing, CEO of GMG GmbH & Co. KG.  "We look to the future with great optimism in 2009, despite the current financial and economic crisis. Our product range is an optimal match for today's needs. It allows companies of the graphic arts industry to achieve important cost savings as just one example of its advantages. New products in the software and media sector will also ensure that our growth continues to develop favorably."
