PSDA Names Regional Directors

Press release from the issuing company

Alexandria, VA – January 7, 2009 – The Print Services & Distribution Association (PSDA) is pleased to announce the addition of two new Regional Directors to the PSDA Regionalization Program. Brad Wallans, the president of sales & business development for Trade Secret Printing, and Doug Roberts, the national sales manager for Graphic Dimensions, will work closely with PSDA to coordinate local events, represent their respective regions and help further the programs and services available to the membership.

PSDA's regionalization program was established to cultivate a group of active members to serve as local ambassadors. The association's membership is divided into 8 regions, each hosting a minimum of 2 regional directors.  Regional directors play a pivotal role in liaising with PSDA to allow the association to better serve each and every member.

"Regional Directors are essential in helping PSDA.  Their dedication to developing Local Forum events is largely what makes these events so successful," said Dennis McGarry, CDC, vice president of education for PSDA. "Local Forums provide opportunities for people in the print industry to network within their region, as well as receive timely education that is most relevant to them.  Regional Directors, who live and work in the regions, know what the topics of interest are, which allows us to tailor the education accordingly."

Brad Wallans will be joining Kevin Landry in our northeast region, Region 1. They, in conjunction with PSDA, are currently working to assemble the education sessions for the Region 1 Local Forum which will be held March 12th at the Sheraton Meadowlands in New Jersey.  Doug Roberts will be joining Julie Pritchard in the southeast region, Region 3.  The Region 3 Local Forum will be held on May 27th at the Renaissance Waverly in Atlanta Georgia.
