Zaandam – The Netherlands -- WoodWing, developer of cross-media content publishing solutions for newspapers, magazines, book publishers and corporate customers, today announced a technology partnership with eZ Systems, headquartered in Skien, Norway.

eZ Systems develops and markets eZ Publish, an Open Source Web Content Management System, chosen by thousands of enterprises and organizations worldwide to build their corporate websites, intranets, web shops and media portals. The system is based on open standards and stores content in generic XML, enabling customers to seamlessly deliver content across multiple platforms.

The integration of WoodWing's Enterprise Content Publishing Platform with eZ Publish is in the focus of the partnership and has already been developed. This integration consists of a WoodWing Enterprise server plugin plus an extension for eZ Publish. It is available at no charge to WoodWing and eZ partners, allowing them to easily and successfully implement cross-media publishing solutions for customers.

From the publisher's perspective, WoodWing's client application Content Station allows editors to plan, create, manage and to publish their content to any output channel with a single mouse-click. With this new integration, eZ Publish becomes one of these channels.
