C2 Media announces FSC Certification

Press release from the issuing company

New York, NY -- C2 Media, Inc. announced that it has received Chain-Of-Custody certification from the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) in their Chicago manufacturing facility. By certifying that environmentally and socially responsible practices have been followed in the production of wood products, the Council and those who adhere to its standards promote the preservation of forests and the wildlife that dwell there.

"We are proud of our recent certification and of our ongoing environmental and recycling programs that demonstrate our commitment to be responsible corporate citizens. In addition, FSC certification allows us to better serve our clients who are increasingly looking for environmentally sensitive alternatives" said David Manning, President and CEO of C2 Media, Inc.

Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) was created with the sole intent to develop forest management standards to promote sustainable forestry. FSC certification serves as an inventory control system that verifies the source of papers utilized in manufacturing and printing. To become certified, companies work with accredited, independent auditing firms who evaluate forest management activities and chain of custody tracking materials passing through mills, manufacturers and distributors.
