Challenge CMT-Series Trimmers
 
Challenge has drawn on our paper cutting experience to develop a line of three-side book trimmers which help to increase trimming accuracy, efficiency, and productivity.
 
The CMT 330 is a true three-knife trimmer offering single-book production speeds of over 400 books per hour with a fully-automatic size change in less than 20 seconds.  The 99-job storage capability allows for efficient recalling of your common book-trimming parameters. Its low-maintenance design allows for maximum productivity with minimal operator intervention.    
 
The CMT 130 is the newest member of the CMT family.  This three-side trimmer offers single book production speeds of up to 200 books per hour, as well as a fully-automatic size change in under 20 seconds and the same ample job storage capabilities.
 
Both CMT book trimmers feature a unique modular design which allows for near-line or in-line trimming capabilities, multiple-book trimming capability, bar code size change capabilities, and high-speed size change (less than 6 seconds), making either of them the ultimate book trimming solution.

Challenge Paper Drills and Round Cornering Machines
 
Since introducing to the industry the first hollow-spindle drill in 1930, Challenge paper drills have become legendary for their unrelenting performance and extraordinary value throughout the years.  Challenge offers paper drilling machines from a single-spindle office machine to the rugged 10-spindle production drill.  Standard and Teflon coated hollow drill bits are available in thirteen diameters ranging from 1/8" to 1/2" (3.2mm to 12.7mm).  Specialty drilling, such as large hole drilling applications (up to 1-5/8" / 41.3mm), medical forms drilling, and many European drill patterns are available on select units.
 
The Challenge Round Cornering Machine continues its dominance in production-level cornering throughout the industry.  The hydraulic-powered corner cutter can process up to 4" of material in one powerful stroke for the ultimate in productivity.
