Specialty Print Communications Acquires Batson Printing

Press release from the issuing company

Niles, IL -- Specialty Print Communications welcomes Batson Printing, now an SPC Company. Since 1957, Batson Printing, located in Benton Harbor, MI, has specialized in printing books and product literature for numerous industries. As third-generation printers in the Midwest, SPC is proud to add another family-owned, and locally-operated printing company to their roster.

Through the acquisition, which became official late in 2008, SPC has already realized the advantages of providing book printing and publishing capabilities to their expansive print and lettershop services.

“For more than 50 years, Batson Printing has provided quality and performance to their clients,” said Adam LeFebvre, president of SPC. “We recognize that commitment, and have been delighted to be able to expand our service offerings to our own clients as well.”

With similar corporate philosophies and an entrepreneurial spirit of collaboration, SPC and Batson offer their customers an even greater line of specialty print services and solutions.

“Just six months into the relationship, we already feel strongly that SPC’s corporate tagline, ‘Built to Respond,’ suits us perfectly,” said Todd Batson, Director of Batson Printing.

Batson’s publishing capabilities will round out SPC’s existing web production, sheet feed, digital, and direct mail solutions. SPC’s new lettershop facility will ensure that the organization is a full-service, comprehensive resource for any print, direct marketing or advertising initiative. Batson remains locally managed maintaining the same Batson service and personal attention that customers have come to know and appreciate, while benefiting from the expertise and economies of scale which an industry leader like Specialty Print Communications provides.
