Last Call for Papers for TAGA's Technical Conference

Pittsburgh, PA, August 21, 2008 -- The Technical Association of the Graphic Arts (TAGA) is making its final call for papers for the 61st Annual Technical Conference. Papers on emerging science, technology, and application of all forms of graphic technology and printing processes are invited.
The conference will run March 15-17, 2009, in New Orleans at the Hotel Monteleone. The scope of the conference encompasses topics such as fundamental science, color, materials, computer modeling, MEMS, electronics, and workflow. Papers that include the innovative application or evaluation of technology in the graphic arts are also encouraged; however, papers of a commercial nature should not be submitted.
Papers will be accepted and presented based on abstracts of 300 to 500 words, which may include figures. Prospective authors should include an outline of the work and summary of the findings within the abstract. Accepted papers will be presented at the conference and published in the prestigious 2009 TAGA Proceedings.
Deadline for paper submissions: September 15, 2008
Notification of paper acceptance: October 31, 2008
Submission of completed paper: February 18, 2009
