Gladstone Imaging Upgrades to Ultra High Res CtP
Tuesday, June 16, 2009
Gladstone Imaging upgraded their CtP engine to a fully automatic Fujifilm Javelin 8600Z, ultra high-resolution thermal device. The upgrade was a part of the big revamp to the entire Stonegraphic group that started with a move to a single graphic art manufacturing facility in Markam. On the pressroom side, Gladstone upgraded to a brand new Heidelberg 6-colour press to maximize their print quality. Gladstone now runs all jobs to Gracol 7 specs and using 350 lpi hybrid screening on all heir coated applications. Oscar Nazir is very pleased with the Javelin 8600Z. He said, “The device is fast, efficient, and delivers outstanding quality. We never compromise on standards and it helps us to keep that philosophy”.
