(SCHAUMBURG, IL)  Sakurai USA, Inc. will be demonstrating its family of fully automated offset and screen cylinder presses as well as feature special plate technologies during its summer Demo Days Open House events from 10 AM to 6 PM on Wednesday, July 29th and Thursday, July 30th, 2009 at the Sakurai Headquarters in Schaumburg, Illinois.

“Based on the success of our recent Open House for the Lithographer’s Club of Chicago and previous Demo Days events, Sakurai and its participating dealers are looking forward to hosting our customers, prospects and guests to showcase the Sakurai family of fully automated offset and screen cylinder presses”, said Don Bence, Vice President, Sakurai USA, Inc. “In addition to press, demonstrations, Sakurai will be featuring special plate technologies using Toray Waterless, Mitsubishi Imaging Polyester and Konica Conventional Metal Plates”.

“Representatives from Sakurai suppliers such as  Pierry Manufacturing, Harris & Bruno, Tresu Royse, Mitsubishi Imaging, Toray, Konica and others will be on hand to help facilitate the demonstrations and answer questions about their respective technologies”, Bence added.

Sakurai 466SDC four-color with coater
Sakurai will conduct fast make-ready demonstrations using Waterless and Conventional Plates on the fully automated 466SDC. Available in 4 or 5 printing units plus coating and perfecting, the 466SDC operates at speeds up to 16,000 IPH and accepts sheets up to 20” x 26”.

Sakurai Maestro MS102AII Screen Cylinder Press
The ultra-high precision Maestro will be demonstrating overall and spot coating. The 4,000 IPH Maestro accepts a 28” x 40” sheet and is equipped with a UV Dryer/Stacker.
