Photo Dose Installs ODM Case Binding System

Press release from the issuing company

Bremen, Germany - Photo Dose GmbH.  Photo Dose was founded back in 1898. The company has over 110 years of experience in the photographic industry. Today, www.photodose.de is one of the largest web-based platforms offering a full range of photo finishing products that can be ordered online. In 2005 Photo Dose decided to take a unique route. Unlike most competitors who have their photo finishing products mass manufactured in so-called "photo factories" alongside with drugstore chains, Photo Dose produces all products and services in their own photo finishing labs located in Bremen.

Photo Dose offers top-quality, award-winning, photographic products at economical prices. Everything they sell is delivered to the customer with a fast turn-around. The key to their success is simple... dedicated, hard-working employees. Qualified photo laboratory staffs take care of their customers' photos, which are produced with the latest technology available.

Besides the classical silver halide photos, the turnover of print products is growing at an over proportional rate. First in this category is the user created individual photo book. The success of the Photo Dose photo books is based on the outstanding software and excellent quality. Besides printing a high quality photo, for photo books the bookbinding technique is of utmost importance. Photo Dose relies on the ODM case binding system to produce 'library-quality' hard cover books. The classical thread sewing known as Back Tack Technology ensures a strong side-sew with a lock stitch at the head and foot. This technology gives Photo Dose a market advantage against the competition, which opted for other binding methods. The introduction of the ODM hard cover bookbinding equipment, which includes the Super Sewer, Casemaking System, Sticker, and Smasher, led to a remarkable increase in productivity and customer satisfaction.
