Novation awards WorkflowOne with Document Management Contract

Press release from the issuing company

Dayton, Ohio - WorkflowOne, a leading provider of managed print and promotional marketing services, today announced that Novation, a leading healthcare industry supply contracting company, has awarded the company with a three-year contract to supply its members' document management needs. The contract renewal marks the continuation of a ten-year relationship and track record of delivering outstanding results and cost savings for Novation and the more than 2,500 members of VHA Inc. and the University HealthSystem Consortium (UHC) and nearly 14,000 members of Provista, LLC. Founded in 1998, members used Novation contracts to purchase nearly $35 billion in healthcare related goods and services in 2008 alone.

It is estimated that the members collectively purchase over $500 million annually in document management products and services and will spend in excess of $1.5 billion over the course of the three-year contract. WorkflowOne was awarded this contract to supply forms, labels, marketing collateral and other health-related print, as well as promotional products, to the members.

"WorkflowOne has a decade-long history of helping the members control costs and improve efficiency, which has allowed the members to allocate more of their resources to patient care and education," said Greg Knapp, vice president of Novation. "We look forward to continuing our relationship with WorkflowOne and value our partnership. They truly understand the challenges facing our industry and provide straightforward solutions that allow members to focus on the business of healthcare while saving money."

"WorkflowOne is devoted to being the most creative and flexible provider of print management and promotional marketing to the healthcare industry," said Dean Truitt, president and chief operating officer of WorkflowOne. "From the beginning of our relationship with Novation, WorkflowOne has provided innovative approaches and superior service to hospitals across the country through our dedicated team of healthcare professionals, developing market expertise that is unparalleled in our industry."

WorkflowOne will also offer the members served by Novation, additional programs designed to help hospitals maximize the use of their promotional marketing dollars. By using WorkflowOne's proprietary technology application, Promotional Products Profiler, the members will be able to strengthen their brands while increasing awareness in the markets they serve. Members can save up to 20% of their promotional products spend upon implementing this program.
