CINCINNATI, Ohio - xpedx® has launched Endurance Digital, a sustainably produced, coated printing paper guaranteed for production-rated digital printing equipment.  The new Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) chain-of-custody certified paper brings a highly competitive new value option to printers and is available nationwide starting July 2009.

The addition of Endurance Digital enables xpedx to provide the widest variety of performance, value and quality digital papers available in North America.  xpedx has targeted the product for high-volume digital printers as well as commercial and in-plant printers and orders for it are now being taken.  

The value sheet was designed to perform consistently while meeting the rigorous demands of digital printing.  The advanced surface offers uniform color application and superior toner adhesion.  It is guaranteed for Xerox iGen, KODAK Nexpress, HP Indigo, Canon, Konica-Minolta, Océ, and other toner/laser-based printers and DI (digital imaging) presses.

The new paper is a 91-bright sheet available in text and cover, gloss and silk, and a variety of sizes and weights.  It is certified by the Rochester Institute of Technology’s (RIT) Printing Applications Laboratory.

xpedx also offers Vector Performance DI printing papers for toner/laser-based printers and other digital printing equipment.  The high-bright sheet contains 15% post-consumer waste fiber and is RIT-certified for HP Indigo presses.  xpedx also markets other digital papers from a wide variety of papermakers worldwide.
