MELBOURNE, Fla. -- MGI USA, the multi-substrate (paper and plastic) digital press and finishing solution manufacturer, announced that Knight Press, a leading full service commercial print provider, has purchased a Meteor DP60 Pro four-color multi-substrate digital press. The sale and installation are handled by Paper Handling Solutions (PHS), MGI USA's dealer for Georgia, Tennessee and the Carolinas.

Established in 1978 and based in Charleston, SC., Knight Press has built a solid reputation on excellent customer service and high quality prints. Knight has always invested in cutting edge technology and talented people, making them the logical choice for many corporate clients in the Carolinas.

As the commercial print industry evolves and becomes more personalized, customers are requiring short run and variable data printing on a broad range of materials in addition to paper and envelopes. The MGI Meteor DP60 Pro allows Knight Press to fully serve the growing demands of the commercial print industry. In addition to the new digital press, Knight has also purchased from PHS a UV coating system and perfect binder.  These new capabilities position the company to capitalize on the new opportunities that exist in the commercial digital print market.  With an established reputation, talented staff and broad capabilities, Knight Press is programmed for continued growth and success.
