Print Buyers Conference Opens for Exhibitor Registration

Press release from the issuing company

CHESTNUT HILL, MASS -- Want to promote your graphic arts business to your ideal market? Sign up now to connect with hundreds of print sourcing professionals from fields including business, education, government, and non-profit by becoming an exhibitor at the 4th Annual Print Buyers Conference. Exhibitor registration opens on May 8, 2009.

Sponsored by Print Buyers International, LLC (PBI), the 4th Annual Print Buyers Conference will reflect the theme of “Relevance through Reinvention,” in its pricing, programming and promotions.

“We are calling ourselves, ‘The Affordable Conference,’ because we are responding to today’s economic pressures in a highly visible and effective way,” explains PBI President and Founder Margie Dana. In addition to lowering prices for exhibitors and relocating back to the suburban Westford Regency Inn & Conference Center in Westford, MA, the 4th Annual Print Buyers Conference has taken the unprecedented step of integrating its exhibitors and exhibits into the fabric of the daily program.

Great Benefits at Lower Cost

“We have reduced the number of exhibits and reconfigured our space so that all Keynote Presentations, meals, Energy Breaks, and Roundtable Discussions will take place inside the Conference Hall,” Dana continues. “This will focus attention on the displays and heighten the exhibits’ impact and visibility.” Exhibitors also will be invited to participate in Roundtable Discussions and other activities taking place inside the Conference Hall.

The Westford venue is much more affordable than a Boston location. PBI has secured a block of hotel rooms for just $115 plus tax for a limited amount of time - and parking is free.

Two tickets to work each exhibiting firm's display space come with each reservation. Additional tickets for exhibitors' staff members are also available at a discount.

Promoting via Traditional and New Media in '09

As the foremost provider of educational and networking opportunities for people in print buying and the graphic arts, PBI uses its widespread connections to promote the Conference and its exhibitors and sponsors to a broad audience. This year, PBI will tap into traditional and new media resources to spread the word.

Print ads in major trade publications plus a direct mail campaign by Print Buyers International will promote the Conference in the summer and early fall. A strategically planned email marketing campaign that targets senior-level professional print customers will complement the print campaign.

Margie Dana will promote the November Conference on several social media web sites, including LinkedIn and Twitter, and through a series of online news releases.

New Boot Camps at the PBI Conference

As an additional benefit to print providers, the 2009 PBI Print Buyers Conference will offer a Boot Camp for Print Reps™ on November 3rd from 1-4 pm. This innovative half-day program will be led by Dana and RIT Professor Emeritus Frank Romano, and will educate printing sales reps, customer service reps, paper reps, and print company executives about the needs and concerns of print buyers today.
On the same day, the first-ever Advanced Print Buyer Boot Camp™ will make its debut, from 9 to 5. This new program was created for print sourcing specialists who have at least three years' experience.

The 4th Annual Print Buyers Conference will provide the great educational programming on which its reputation for excellence has been built. Featured session topics will include Digital Printing; Green Printing; the Growth of Social Media; and Recession-Proofing Your Career.
