Graficas Monterreina S.A. invests in second Goss M-600 press to increase production capacity

Press release from the issuing company

May 2nd, 2007 – Gráficas Monterreina S.A., has invested in a new Goss M-600 press to improve and enhance production capacity, at its facility in Pinto, near Madrid, Spain. The new press, installed in 2006, is used to print high quality magazines, catalogs, advertising and marketing materials. The company invested in its first M-600 press in 2001 and has been achieving very high quality ever since. According to Javier Marco Cano, managing director, “Since our original investment, an increase in the volume of printing jobs and the trend in Spain for increasingly high print quality at competitive prices, has meant that we have had to supplement our existing press line. Our recent investment in a second M-600 press is the perfect fit for our business, enabling us to increase our capacity and maintain the quality of print our customers have come to expect.” With the capacity to print at up to 55,000 impressions per hour, the new Goss M-600 press at Gráficas Monterreina consists of four printing units with a JF-55 folder and Goss Ecocool dryer. Combining these features with the Goss Autoplate fully automatic plate changing system and Goss Contiweb CS splicer, the M-600 press that has now been in operation for 10 months at the Pinto facility offers the rapid makeready ability and waste reduction benefits that keep the company competitive. Javier Marco Cano, continues, “Quality and good customer service has always been fundamental to our business strategy, and investment in the latest technology to keep up with current trends is key. When we make an investment we not only want to expand production capacity, we also aim to improve upon it, thus allowing us to offer better quality and service to our clients.”
